Explanation

DOS must be between 352 and 987 to generate a square with six different digits. Therefore, D can only be 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 or 9.

S can only be 2, 3, 4, 7, 8 or 9 with corresponding value for O of 4, 9, 6, 9, 4 and 1.

This limits DOD to q few value which can be easily checked to arrive at the answer.
