Archibald, Bernard and Clarence each make four statements about each other. But only one of them made four true statements.

Archibald said:

  1. Bernard owes me $10.

  2. Clarence owes me $5.

  3. All of Clarence's statements are true.

  4. All of Bernard' statements are false.

Bernard said:

  1. I owe no money to Archibald.

  2. Clarence owes me $7.

  3. I am Scandinavian.

  4. All Archibald's statements are false.

Clarence said:

  1. I owe no money to anyone.

  2. Bernard is Italian.

  3. I always tell the truth.

  4. Two of Bernard's statements are true and two are false.
